It is now official I will be working as a youth development volunteer in Honduras and leaving July 6th 2011. More to come later.

Graduation Present
Here is the email I recieved this morning:
James –
Greetings from the Peace Corps Office of Placement. I am the Placement Officer conducting the final review of your application. I am responsible for placing applicants in Community and Youth Development programs worldwide. I am pleased to let you know that I have qualified you for service and identified a program for you.
The details that I can give to you are as follows:
Assignment: Youth Development Volunteer
Location: Central America
Departure: Early July
The remaining details will be within the invitation kit; it will arrive by the end of the week via UPS. Please confirm by reply that I should send the invitation to:
So it looks like I will be able to make some weekend trips home considering I'll most likely be in the same time zone just a little south of the border. Judging by the departure dates like I did last time, I think that I will be going to Honduras but again that is just an assumption. I will let everyone know for sure when I get the information in the mail this week. Thanks to everyone that attended yesterday, it was a fun time and I really appreciate you guys coming out. Thanks!
