Peace Corps Lingo

So I noticed that I use a lot of Peace Corps lingo that I am sure people do not really know what it means so I will be providing a list of these abbreviations/words/etc. so that you can actually understand my blogs.

PC - short hand for Peace Corps
PCV or V - Peace Corps Volunteer
Sitemate - PCV who is also living in the same site but working on a different project
Counterpart - The host country nationals (HCN) that we work with in our site
E.T. - early termination when you decide to leave the country before your two years are up
Charla - a short presentation usually given to community members
Aldea - a smaller community that sit outside of a large community and is governed by the large community

Let me know if there are other words/phrases/etc. that I use and you have no idea what they mean. I am going to try to update this list as often as I can.
